Jerome Griggs Berry is contesting collection action primarily because he disagrees with the underlying liability. Unfortunately, he already lost on these liabilities in a previous Tax Court decision. He has new reasons (an extremely old NOL) he wants considered, but Tax Court previously denied his motion to vacate and rehear on those grounds. He also claims collection is stayed by this bankruptcy, but he missed deadlines for bringing those issues to Tax Court after the Bankruptcy decision.
